LISTENING PRACTICE (RECOUNT TEXT)


          A.  Pre – Listening
Hello students, how are you today?
In this session, we are going to listen to a recount text and do some fun activities.

Do you know recount text, kids?
Okay good, recount text is text that retell about a story, experience, and other using simple past tense or past perfect tense in its phrase. 

I will give you a video related to recount text. Here it is.

So,  the Generic Structure of Recount Text :
1. Orientation           : provide information about the setting (when/where) and introduces (who).
2. Sequence of events : tell what happened, in temporal sequence.  
3. Reorientation          : closure of events.
